Angela is a third year Biotechnology & Economics student at the University of Waterloo and a Waterloo local. With previous experience at Cancer Care Ontario, she is currently working at Research in Motion. She is also a volunteer at Grand River Hospital and a member of UW’s iGEM (Genetically Engineered Machines) team. When she’s not busy with the routines of life, she is baking chocolate chip cookies, listening to the Beatles or exploring the great outdoors. She is passionate about social activism, genetic engineering, and making TEDxUW the best event of the year!
